About mokusei
Share
mokusei was born from a deep desire to reconnect with the joy of creating.
That joy started when I was a child, sitting next to my mother’s sewing machine, turning fabric scraps into my first “art piece.”
Years later, I felt that same spark again while carving a spoon from a scrap piece of wood. That’s when mokusei quietly began.
In Japanese, the word mokusei has two meanings:
木製... “wooden”
木星...“Jupiter,” the planet that sparkles with growth and creativity.
I hope each handmade piece brings a little bit of that warmth, creativity, and wonder into your hands.
